IF... all Dimensions / Universes Possess The Same Level Of Power (see story and trailer at home page) and that Power was distributed amongst its Fighters WHO WILL WIN? (i.e. in this scenario the power rating of the most powerful beings in every universe are about the same... Superman's overall powers will be comparable to Hulk, Shao Kahn, Shin Gouki, etc... get it? It will all depend on skill, strategy, and the fighters' unique abilitites)
Previous attempts had been made to get mugen to a portable device such as your smartphone and psp. Those methods include installing InfinyCAT and Shugendo - an open source mugen created from scratch. Those have very limited success with the game crashing a lot or working very slowly. Various documentation is available for these methods. Just Google Mugen for PSP and Shugendo.
Current way to get MUGEN on your smartphone:
Now there is a current way to get mugen on your smartphone. At the time of this writing, it is only available for Android. We know they are working on an iOS version. The app is called Kainy. It's basically a remote desktop application. Not only can you play mugen games but any pc game as well. You basically run the game from your home pc and stream it via Kainy. Your smartphone becomes the controller and you see what's going on on your pc via your smartphone. Internet connection is required and works on 3G, 4G, and WiFi. It works pretty well... better than any other remote desktop app available out there. We've tried others such as Splashtop, PocketCloud, and others and those apps are either too hard to set up or very laggy.
It's really simple to get setup. Just download Kainy from Google Play (there's a small fee to it - definitely worth it though) and follow the instructions. The only "hard" part is that you might need to do some port-forwarding to let Kainy go through your pc's security. We've found really simple-to-follow instructions here:
The speed and quality of the stream depends on the speed of your home internet and of your smartphone. It is best to use wifi for optimum gaming experience. 4G comes second followed by 3G if 4G is not available. If you have any questions regarding setting up your phone, how to use Kainy, the creator of the website have put up a forum where you can view other people's comments as well as post a question yourself. Here it is:

What's currently in development:
Now here is where we're really excited. There is this site called Paintown and they are currently developing a a port of mugen to literally all other gaming systems out there. They are developing mugen to be played on Android and iOS devices as well as PSP, XBOX, PS3, and others. We've checked out the site and what they've accomplished so far and it looks very promising. The beauty with Paintown is that you can play mugen anywhere and not have to rely on an internet connection. The game will be native to your device. Now that's fighting game heaven!
