This has got to be the best MUGEN Game we have the pleasure of playing. It has all the essential characters anyone would want in a dream fighting game unless if you're a fan of chibi or cutesy characters - it doesn't have any of that which is awesome! It only has serious fighters coming from a "multiverse" of hardcore warriors. I mean what else can anyone want from a fighting game that has characters from DC, Marvel, Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, Killer Instinct, Samurai Shodown, Dark Stalkers, DBZ, Star Wars, etc!!! What's more is that this game contain rare characters that we haven't seen in other games... characters like Onaga, a more complete version of Brainiac, Kratos for winmugen just to name a few. Another plus for this game is that it doesn't contain a hundred different Ryu's and Akuma's and so on. Sure there are a little bit of variations included but they are really different and limited to 5 or less. Finally, this game is pretty well-balanced. First of all, there are no undefeatable characters. Each character is edited so they actually have a fighting chance of winning - doesn't matter what "tier" they belong to. This is really refreshing in the world of MUGEN.
And by balance we mean it's a pretty balanced roster. It seems weird at first especially when you look at some of the possible match ups such as Ken vs Hulk - you might be inclined to say Ken has no chance but that's not the case. While Hulk would have the edge it is still possible for Ken to pull an upset. The beauty of how the game is balanced is that the story lines, power levels, and special skills and abilities of each character still comes into play but in a place where universes merge, something happens with the "physical laws" that "equalizes" the playing field and this is exactly how the game is set up.

This game is a must have if you are a DBZ fan. The reason it's only rated a "3" is that the stages are not high quality. There are a few decent ones but not enough to make up for the other ones. The characters are also not as balanced as they should be. But it's still a fun game to play.

Great game to play if you're a fan of the DC vs Marvel comics. Now you can play out classic battles as seen in the comics but with a huge difference - the outcome is entirely up to you. There's plenty of characters and stages in this game although whoever put this game together didn't really spend time in balancing the game nor making the game flow better. It's more of a compilation where the author took different characters and stages and put it all together without really doing much to it afterwards. But is still deserves a "4" for the decent amount of "stuff" in it.

Pitting the 2 biggest fighting games that started it all is definitely fun. The game has a very nice screenpack that goes well with the mk vs sf theme. There's also a good mix of traditional and newer mk and sf characters and stages. Our biggest complaint about this game is that the people that put it together did not bother re-sizing the characters (i.e. Shao Kahn is way bigger than any street fighter, etc.). This is an easy fix though... but that's not the point.

It's the classic SSF2T game in HD!!! Each character has an added moveset. Screenpack is awesome. The characters are very well balanced. The stages just look glorious in HD! A must-have for any fighting game fan.

One of the best crossover fighting game series is back with a vengeance! A huge amount of characters from wide variety of Marvel and Capcom figures are here including some surprise characters.... like DC and MK characters thrown into the mix. Balance between characters could use some work. More stages should be included especially for a big game like MVC3.

Nice HD screenpack and stages. Good character selection. Improvements can definitely be made such as adding more stages and characters. Considering you're including the massive universes of DC, Marvel, and Capcom, there should be more characters and stages available in the game. Some of the characters are also not properly proportioned (height and width) when compared to other characters' sizes (i.e. Superman looks taller than the Hulk).
